RANK1 is organised by Rising High Productions ("RANK1", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through our website rank1fc.com and our iOS app R1FC (the "App"), including the fighter application form at rank1fc.com/fighters, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
We collect as little as we can. You do not need an account for anything on our website or in the App.

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers or payment details. We only receive a photo of you if you send one with a fighter application. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Tickets for RANK1 events are sold and processed by our ticket platform, CM.com. Your payment and ticket details are handled by CM.com, and their own privacy policy applies to that part. From CM.com we receive your name, email address, order number and the tickets you bought, so we can seat you and keep you informed about the event.
At rank1fc.com/seats you can choose your seats by entering your order number and last name. We use these only to find your order. Failed attempts are logged with your order number and a scrambled version of your IP address, and that log is cleared after 24 hours.
Fighters and coaches can apply to fight at a RANK1 event through the form at rank1fc.com/fighters. This section explains what happens with those details.
We use these details only for matchmaking: to look at your profile, to contact you, your coach or your parent or guardian about a possible fight at a RANK1 event, and to build the fight card. We do not add you to our mailing list, and we do not publish anything from your application unless we agree a fight with you first. The legal basis is consent, given when the form is sent. If you are 13 or older, you give it yourself. If you are under 13, your parent or legal guardian gives it for you (see "Under 18" below).
Your application is stored in our Supabase database, in Supabase's EU region (Ireland). Your photo is kept in a private storage area, not on a public web address. Only RANK1 staff who are signed in to our staff system can open applications and photos. When you apply, we send one email to our own address info@rank1fc.com and one confirmation email to you.
We delete your application, including your photo, 12 months after the event you applied for. If you applied for more than one event, we count from the last of them. If you fought on a RANK1 card, we keep your details for as long as we work with you on future RANK1 events, unless you ask us to delete them.
Fighters under 18 can only apply with a parent or guardian, who must agree to the application and give their name and phone number. We contact the parent or guardian about any fight.
Under 13, Belgian law (the GDPR, article 8, and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018, article 7) does not let a child give this consent alone. A parent or legal guardian then fills in the form, gives their email address as well, and gives the consent by ticking the box that says they are the fighter's parent or legal guardian. We do not accept an application for a fighter under 13 without it.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your application at any time by emailing info@rank1fc.com. Your other rights are listed in section 9.
Our emails are sent from a rank1fc.com address through our own mail server. When you join the list you get a welcome email, followed by news and ticket updates about RANK1.
Our list emails contain a small image and tracked links, so we can see whether an email was opened and which links in it were clicked. We use this only to improve our mailings. Some email apps load images automatically, so an "open" does not always mean you read it.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and mark your address as unsubscribed, so you are not added back by mistake. If you want your address deleted completely, email us (see section 11).
The App shows RANK1 news, the event schedule and an indicative seating plan. It has no account, no login, no tickets and no push notifications, and it does not use your camera, location or contacts.
The App contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it loads no tracking pixels. That is why it does not show a cookie banner.
The website keeps two small things in your own browser. It remembers the language you chose, so you do not have to pick it again. And while your browser tab is open, it remembers the tag of the link you arrived through (for example a fighter's link), so a sign-up is credited to the right link. Your language choice never leaves your browser, the link tag only reaches us when you sign up, and you can clear both at any time in your browser settings.
We share data only with providers that run part of our service for us:
Our emails go out through our own mail server for rank1fc.com. Vercel and Supabase are companies based in the United States, so some of your data may be processed outside the European Union. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 11).
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before. To use these rights, email us at the address below. You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Our website and App are not aimed at children under 13, and our questionnaire asks you to confirm you are 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from younger children. Fighters aged 12 to 17 can apply through the fighter application form, but only with a parent or guardian, and under 13 the consent is given by the parent or legal guardian, as described in section 3.
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls, so only our staff can see it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
